Our Story

Founded in 1954 by Bob Weller, Robert Weller Corporation began as a carpet conversion company, specializing in fabricating carpet remnants into beautifully finished, bound area rugs. At the time, the business proudly supplied many of the small department store chains that flourished throughout the region.

As the retail landscape shifted and large national chains replaced smaller stores, Robert Weller Corp adapted to continue serving local shops with quality area rugs, even as competition grew more challenging.

In 1999, Bob’s son, Dan Weller, joined the company, now Weller Carpets,  ushering in a new chapter of growth. Expanding beyond carpet conversion, he established a wholesale showroom that introduced some of the industry’s finest carpet and rug brands to interior designers and decorators.

Today, Robert Weller Corporation continues to build on its decades-long tradition of craftsmanship, service, and innovation—helping clients create beautiful spaces with carpets and rugs of exceptional quality.
